When we head to Michigan, we almost always stop at Willow. Willow is an unassuming looking little restaurant that you'd probably pass by without another thought. That would be a mistake. There's usually a line at the drive-thru, especially in the warmer months, but it's no surprise. We absolutely LOVE the sloppy joes. They're like the kind of sloppy Joe you would find at a church basement rummage sale. Or K of C Thursday night Bingo. Trust me, get the sloppy joe. And you will definitely want to get a side of fries. They are fresh cut and freaking delicious!
Love this old business. A recent high school grad took it over last year. He's keeping a lot of the old, but extending hours and adding some new stuff too. Food is always fresh, hot and tasty. All of the workers are kind, energetic and efficient. The atmosphere has not changed, and doesn't need to. It's fantastic.

Food was amazing. Prices were more than reasonable. Has a small town feel where they treat you like they actually want you there rather than seeming like you are bothering them. We were finishing our meal with our Granddaughter and a woman who I assume was one of the owners came and gave our Granddaughter quarters to play the toy machine on her way out. It's a smaller establishment and looks busy but I promise service is quick and they really want you there.
